Western Mongolia

Western Mongolia is famous for its snow-capped high mountain, biggest glacier of Mongolia which is located at Altay Tavan Bogd National Park, crystal clear twin lakes, ancient petroglyphs, forest, throat singers and Nomadic eagle hunters. There live different kinds of ethnic groups Kazakh, Tuva, Dorvod, and Urianhai people. They all have their own culture, tradition, region and their languages. Nomadic people migrate 3-4 times a year because of their livestock they need to follow the pasture; animal is basic supplement for their life. The Eagle hunters live in small towns of Ulgii province, hunting with golden eagle is tradition of Kazakh nomads have been continuing from father to the son. Last few years, there have several eagle huntress young girls who are continuing tradition according to their interest. To be an eagle hunter it requires patient and strength. Nowadays, it is good that young generations want to keep the tradition. That is the way to live as a nomad.
